Just in time for the great biking weather (finally), Mappy is teaming up with the Capital Trails Coalition to talk about what trail network in the DC region might look like.

The Capital Trails Coalition (http://capitaltrailscoalition.org/), comprised of a variety of organizations and agencies, seeks to create a world-class trail network for all DC-area residents. They envision a safe, accessible trail system that people can use to get to work or school or to the woods or the parks. Basically, they want to transform the way we get around the city and the way we get out of the city -- and here at Mappy, we think that's pretty cool.

At this month's Mappy, we'll look at the Capital Trails Coalition's latest maps -- that's right, the maps are back! We'll hear more about the project, share ideas and feedback, and talk about ways to get involved. Whether you've done several centuries, ride a bike share once in a while, or prefer to commute by foot, they'll be something for you at this event.
