Join Mappy Hour Chicago for our first BONFIRE of the year at Promontory Point.

We'll talk about upcoming adventures and answer questions about where to explore urban nature in and around Chicago while you meet new outdoorsy friends.

We will have drinks for everyone to sip, courtesy of our friends at Solemn Oath Brewing. We will also set up a build-your-own trail mix station to give you something extra to munch on while we chill around the fire. The night will close with a gear swap.

What to consider when swapping gear?
Bring Two Items: One for direct trading ($$$) and another for a gear swap white elephant game ($). Conditions don't have to be new, but the used gear should be fully functional with the defects stated in the swap. Have fun and make a friend; follow up with how they plan to use this swapped item.

Getting There:

Drivers - If you plan to drive, this parking lot is the best option nearby

Bikers - Promontory Point is an easy ride on Lakefront Trail to 55th Street.

Transit Options—

The Metra Electric line runs from Millenium Station to 56th Street .

CTA 6 BUS: 79th/South Shore runs to 55th Street from downtown.
