Description

Join us for year 3 of our group campout up in Wisconsin!

Mappy Hour Chicago is heading north for some classic summer car camping up in Wisconsin at Richard Bong State Recreation Area – just 1.5 hours north of Chicago.

We'll get our camping on while enjoying Wisconsin in all its glory. If you're into morning yoga sessions, day hikes, relaxing by the bonfire, group dinner at camp, and quiet nights under the stars, we're planning on that too. We've taken care of the campsite reservation – you just have to show up for the fun.

  • Campsite reservation (1tent spot at group campsite)
  • Saturday breakfast
  • Saturday dinner
  • Sunday breakfast
  • Community shelters for relaxing
  • Firewood
  • Free Solemn Oath beer + Partake Brewing N/A beer (first come, first serve)
  • Paddle boarding + kayaking (first come, first serve)

NOTE: We will be providing meals on Saturday (breakfast and dinner) and Sunday (breakfast). We will have a community camp kitchen to use on-site if you would like to prepare your own food outside of those meals (i.e. Saturday lunch). BYO pots/pans to cook with, please!

Vegetarian and gluten-free options will be provided at the group breakfasts (Saturday and Sunday) and dinner (Saturday) for those who opt for it. Please email chapter co-leader: Erica (erica.zazo at gmail.com) with any dietary restrictions and accommodations in advance.

Want to carpool? 🚙

If you're interested in carpooling (or offering a ride to someone who might need one), send an email with your name, neighborhood, and the date/time you ideally would like to leave – to chapter co-leader: Erica Zazo (erica.zazo at gmail.com).
